While the location is convenient—close to Rainbow's End and various dining options—it felt tired overall. The cleanliness was hit-or-miss; the bathroom was up to par, but the room needed a deep clean, and we encountered some maintenance issues. the friendly reception staff added a personal touch to our stay. For families, the nearby attractions like the Auckland Botanic Gardens and Weymouth Walkway provided ample opportunities for bonding and relaxation amidst the hustle.

It offered us great and stunning location really close to amusements as well as motorways. It also was close to large shopping centre.

I was eager to visit the Auckland Botanic Gardens, famous for its stunning collection of over 10,000 plants and flowers, making it a highlight of my trip. I chose Rayland Motel primarily for its proximity to this landmark, and I was pleasantly surprised to find free parking available. the satisfying meals at the on-site Valentine's Restaurant made my stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel was very hard to find, even with GPS.

Nice and clean and central for the purpose of my visit. Doesn,t mean by my answers on question 2 that its not suitable for a lot of other activities. Have stayed before and enjoyed it.Good easy location.

Brand-new, neat unit with excellent bed, bath, for instance. Friendly efficient staff always on hand. Handy and convenient location close to shops and easy access to shopping centres and a large shopping mall. Again, not far from Icon Park...

the location is excellent, with shops and eateries nearby, making it convenient to explore the area. the room was clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. though there was a minor issue with the heater not working initially, a backup heater was found, which did the job. the staff at reception were friendly and accommodating during my visit.
No complaints 😊.

It was in the very central location to the international Airport. The staff were amazingly nice and pleasant all of the time.

Convenience to Manukau city-rainbows end and other event centers. Beds were comfortable-bathroom was clean.
Did not like the smell of chlorine or what ever cleaning product was used to cause the smell to linger. Could not air the room as arrived in the evening. Needed to close door and windows.

I can't believe I stayed somewhere so rundown! The room was filthy, with cobwebs everywhere and even blood stains on the linen. It smelled like stale alcohol, and the noise from the planes made it impossible to get any real rest.

The hotel is modern and stylish with all you need for a very very good stay. Guests have all their needs satisfied by the top-class and helpful staff. The location is handy, just next door to Denny's and Valentine's restaurants and Manukau and other tourists attraction and malls and fun areas, we liked it. Overall good food, plus there is Bronco's Steak House close by.

The room etc is average and if you want 5 star this is not it but what made it for me is the location to Manukau City Centre. It is a 10 minute walk. Also the staff was friendly and made sure that you felt welcomed. I would stay again.

My recent stay was good, thanks to the very tidy and clean room. I appreciated the attentive hotel staff, who promptly addressed my concerns about the condensation and mould in the shower, ensuring the issue was tested again and resolved. After multiple attempts, we finally received a working key, granting us access to a higher-level room that offered a lovely view, making our visit even more enjoyable.
The repeated hassle of getting a functioning key was slightly frustrating. It took four tries to access our room, which could have marred an otherwise pleasant experience.

I do like the fact that it's upstairs and downstairs sleeping
The decor is a little old fashion and is in need of an update.

The location suited us as it was close to facilities like Westfield and dining at night, there were a numbr of choices and everything was within walking distance. The security fence is a big plus as well. The motel is also very close tothe airport which suited us as we did not have a car and needed to use taxis
The bathrooms while clean still had mould around the doors in the shower, and as I have asthma this can be a problem in the winter and in the humid Auckland temperatures. The lighting in the room was not bright enough to have done any work at the table. Would be improved with a centre ceiling light.
